Battle of the Bakers Hong Kong will be collaborating with Secret Ingredient to offer the contestants a once in a life time opportunity. Each bakers will be tasked with developing a unique, commercially viable dessert to wow the judging panel. This dessert must follow strict guidelines for ingredients and pricing set from the quality control team and will push the bakers to challenge their role as amateur bakers in a professional kitchen. 

The winner of this challenge will have their product produced by the talented team at Secret Ingredient and sold to thousands of  customers all over Hong Kong.

Our "chefs to be" will study under the watchful eye of Chef Nolan Ledarney of Umami Concepts . Their tasks on Week 2 will include constructing a modern composed dessert worthy of the best restaurant kitchens in Hong Kong. The contestants must balance both the eye and the palate to score full marks as technique and presentation are the key to their success

Chef Nolan Ledarney has worked in a few great kitchens throughout Asia and North America such as the Embassy of Canada in Japan, L'Ósier Restaurant & Citabria

As well Hong Kong Organic retailer Home Grown Foods stops by to introduce the contestants to some seasonal organics which have recently come into the city. What will the bakers create? Tune in for Week 4 and the unveiling of their Healthy Baking Options

We are inviting 50 potential contestants to craft a delicious creation that best relfects thier passion for the art of baking and draws from their earliest inspirations for that passion. Items must be individually portioned and will be submitted for blind judging by our guests at the launch event of Battle Of The Bakers to be held at Umami Concepts kitchen studio on historic Bonham road.
